Biography

Jesse Sarembock is a New York City-based pianist who has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and South Africa. His concert appearances include notable venues such as the Lefrak Concert Hall in New York City, the Arte Music Academy in Nicosia, the Centre Universitaire Méditerranéen in Nice, and the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town. He is an active chamber musician and has collaborated with artists including Alonso Restrepo, Emma Fusco, and Jasmine Forooghi, as well as composer Nora Farley, whose chamber work he premiered at the Zodiac Music Festival in France.

Jesse's musical achievements have been recognized with the Emilio Farella Performance Trophy in two consecutive years, as well as the Alan van der Merwe Pianist of the Year Award. He has performed at international festivals such as the Zodiac Music Festival and Chopin in Cyprus, and has participated in masterclasses with internationally acclaimed pianists, including Albert Cano Smit, Congyu Wang, and Pavel Nersessian. 

Jesse holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Aaron Copland School of Music, where he studied under Professor Sahun Sam Hong. He previously studied with Dr. Esthea Kruger at the South African College of Music, University of Cape Town. Alongside his performing career, Jesse maintains a private piano studio in New York, teaching students of all ages and abilities.
